“Bodysong” (2003): A movie to explore the human body.

Category : Video
Explore the human body through the movie entitled “Bodysong” (2003).
The process of human life and the human condition, from birth through to death, without dialogue, but set to a soft music score.

“Bodysong” uses a collage of images to present a portrait of life from the moment the sperm pierces the egg until death. Home movies, famous film images, and other sources have been tapped to supply the materials. The film attempts to embrace the entire spectrum of human existence by including pictures of disease, violence, decay… accumulated archive footage of ritual celebration and the carnage of war. The film includes a soundtrack recorded by Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead.

Director: Simon Pummell
Producer: Janine Marmot
Genre: Documentary / Avant-garde / Independent Film
Country: United Kingdom
Soundtrack: Jonny Greenwood (of Radiohead)
