Transience is the main object of my accounts. Lifetime are passed and marked on each side of the body just as a tree wearing its rings years. The human body stories is unearthed as an ornament.

People talking about their looks inside as if they had nothing to hide.

What we do to operate it, is part of what makes us exist while becoming aesthetic.

A white heart, a lung destroyed, a blackened spine, a brain from which rises a plant, are just a few ways of stories, each with its own story.

We look indoors or outdoors? Do we want to show ourselves like how we are really?

Valentina Ștefănescu

BIO
Valentina Ștefănescu was born in 1969 in Romania. She started with art education at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Timișoara, Romania where she studied Textile Arts. In 1999 he was awarded in the First Biennial of embroidery held in Cluj Napoca, Romania. Her creation was exposed over time in many biennials and major exhibitions in Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Turkey. Annually organizes various exhibitions including the International Biennale of Miniature Arts Timișoara - BIAMT. She is currently Lecturer PhD at the University of the West Timişoara, Faculty of Arts and Design, specialization in Textile Arts.
