Sascha Windolph
BIO
Sascha Windolph was born in Hannover, Germany, in 1969. In 1986, he spent six months on the Greek island of Naxos, an experience that influenced his artistic path. In 1989 and 1990, he worked alongside Manolis Glezos on Naxos in two youth workcamps, further deepening his connection with Greece. From 1994 to 1996, Windolph served as a civil worker at the Psychiatry Wunstorf in Germany. During the same period, he worked as an assistant to the artist Hans-Jürgen Breuste in Hannover. Between 1996 and 2000, he was based at the Gizpiel Passage Studio in Leipzig, Germany. Since then, he has participated in numerous exhibitions and founded the Artist Invite Store, as well as the "Kiosk of Democracy" blog, continuing to contribute to the art world to this day.
