Jesús Sánchez Ruiz, PhD by the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid, has been working in the immunology and cancer fields for longer than 10 years, at several research centers including the CNB, CNIO and CNIC. Ever since he finished his PhD he has combined his lab work with scientific communication and scientific illustration, mainly through his Immunology-in-Comics project A Lymph’s Life (www.alymphslife.com). This project was awarded in 2016 with the SIMO Prize to the Best Blog of Educative Resources, and has served as a platform for collaborations with the Spanish Society for Immunology, the Spanish Melanoma Group, and CRIS Cancer Foundation. With his science-comics project Jesús has participated in many events, that range from children oriented talks and workshops to scientific meetings. He also has collaborated with companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, GSK, Allergy Therapeutics or Rubió.
